Settle down and enjoy the cozy space. Apricot Grove conveys complete professionalism but in a relaxed, non-clinical way. No lab coats; no “woo woo”.
Can you imagine feeling happy and peaceful after seeing a health care practitioner? Rather than the stress and exhaustion many of us feel after any kind of doctor or hospital visit, leave your session at Apricot Grove feeling calm and positive about your health and your future. The waiting area and treatment rooms are beautiful without being fussy. Soft, unobtrusive music may be used for your session to aide in relaxation and enjoyment.
Acupuncturist/herbalist Alexander Dold founded Apricot Grove in 2007. The center provides office and treatment space for his practice, for acupuncturist Kim Close and for massage therapist Jennifer Schweizer. Located conveniently just northwest of Downtown Evanston, free parking is easy and abundant.
Fees are based on treatments provided plus the cost of herbs or other products and are payable at time of treatment.

Many insurance providers now cover acupuncture. Ask your provider the following:
- How much per visit do they cover for an out of network provider?
- How many yearly visits?
- What is the deductible and how much has been met?
Apricot Grove will provide you with an itemized invoice, which you can then submit to your insurance provider. They will reimburse you directly.
